Owner and Clinician: Kristin Lariviere, LMSW
Kristin has been supporting families and children since 2009 when her interest in helping others took form in various employment and internship experiences in the field of social work. Holding long term roles as a supervisor of a therapeutic group home and school social worker helped to shed light on the need for family support, especially for those with young children.
Kristin obtained her Master of Social Work degree from UCONN in 2015 and shortly after began to focus on the social emotional health of young children. Her passion for providing mental health support to this vulnerable population and their families was further strengthened after having a son of her own during the COVID-19 pandemic. This unique parenting experience has enhanced Kristin’s connection to the parenting hardships and triumphs shared by fellow parents who began (or continued) their parenting journey during a historic time.
Kristin has an affinity for iced coffee, chocolate and can be considered as a master-level snacker. Additional (non-food related) interests include yoga, running, travel, being a boy mama, and a wife to a music loving husband.
